Dolomite is a type of limestone that is found in large, thick areas called dolomite beds. It is heat-resistant as well as pressure-resistant. Dolomite makes a great looking countertop and can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, but like most natural stones, it is porous and needs to be sealed to prevent staining. Often referred to as "Super White" for the original Dolomite, this product is a harder version of marble.
